Publié le
The PEPR DIADEM, in collaboration with the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC), is pleased to announce the upcoming CAICOR workshop, which will focus on the role of artificial intelligence in the field of corrosion. The event will take place on the afternoon of 10 September 2026, following the EUROCORR conference, at the Convention Centre in Dublin (Ireland).
A workshop at the heart of current scientific issues
In the face of growing industrial and environmental challenges, corrosion remains a major issue for many sectors. The emergence of artificial intelligence is now opening up new avenues for better understanding, predicting and preventing these phenomena.
The CAICOR 2026 workshop therefore aims to bring together researchers, engineers and industry representatives to discuss the latest advances in this field. Contributions are expected to focus in particular on:
- Corrosion-resistant materials and protective coatings
- Data analysis applied to corrosion
- The prediction and prevention of corrosion phenomena
- Image analysis for rapid and automated diagnostics
