High-speed lab SWAXS
Description
The SWAXS platform is a fully automated, state-of-the-art laboratory X-ray scattering (SAXS) instrument. It comprises two Cu and Mo X-ray source microsources, a sample chamber in vacuum or air, and a vacuum detector for low-noise scattering. The detector is moved automatically to take measurements at different distances between the sample and the detector. The data are then processed and assembled using pySAXS processing software.
Differents sample holders are available:
- Series of liquids (capillaries), powders, solids at room temperature,
- temperature-controlled platinum (-196°C to 350°C),
- shear stage,
- circulation cell for coupling with external chemical reactors for in situ studies.
The platform is equipped with a robotic arm for automated insertion of liquid samples in 96-well plates.
The system also includes an Ultra-SAXS module (measurement of specific surface, porosity, or characteristic nanoparticle sizes between 200 nm and 1 µm).
