Multi-characterization by LIBS/Raman/photoluminescence imaging
Description
The platform offers multi-modal imaging analysis combining LIBS, RAMAN and Photoluminescence spectroscopy at high throughput on flat samples up to 25×50 cm in size. Throughput rates depend on the type of material to be analyzed. For LIBS, the hardness and absorption capabilities of the ablation laser are crucial. For Raman and Luminescence spectroscopy, signal intensity needs to be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and several excitation wavelengths can be tested to optimize acquisition rates (1 kHz maximum). Spatial resolution can be as low as 10 mm, depending on the configuration. A variety of analysis methods are available, using the Lasmap software developed at ILM.
